Most extraordinary things take more than one person to accomplish; thus, the need for leaders. Aegis is committed to providing developing leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to fulfill their goals.

Many people assume that leaders are born, not made. While leadership is not a role everyone would or should choose, most of the skills one needs to motivate and direct people toward a common goal can be learned and practiced. Being a leader is a complex experience requiring a balance between vision and practicality. The Leadership program uses readings, lecture, research, simulations and discussion to help students develop a thorough understanding of the big picture as well as the details of leading. Each class meets once weekly for a three-hour session.
